Bathrooms can be one of the trickier rooms in an interior to get right. If designed well they can feel like a natural extension of the living environment, and a seemless part of the overall style of an interior’s
design. On the flip side if done poorly they can feel too much like a bathroom, by being either too enclosed or too utilitarian/ separate from the rest of the space. This is a bathroom designed for a residence in Holland by a Dutch Interior Designer which illustrates how extending the design style while also building around existing structural elements adds harmony and serentity. The shape of the bathroom is long and skinny, but because of how the rounder shapes of the parlor area, tub, glass shower and lamps match and the color palette blends, it has a great feel.
