Brimfield Flea Market

The Brimfield Antique Show is open three times a year.  This year the dates are May 14-19, July 9-14, September 3-8.    Considered one of the biggest antique shows in the country, you can find all kinds of objects such as accessories, lighting, rugs,  jewelry, vintage furniture, fabrics, etc.  Below are some pictures of accessories we found during our last trip.

The last show of the year will be in Sept. and it is known to be the busiest show of the year.  It does require a lot of patience and we recommend paying the additional fees for the dealers area and going there first.  We found some beautiful vintage pieces including a Tommy Parzinger lamp and some T.H. Robsjohn Gibbins lounge chairs for clients.

DINING / WORKING SPACE

I’m in the process of rebuilding this site and integrating my portfolio so that it is a combination of a portfolio/design site and a collection of some inspirational finds for projects. This is a dining /working space I worked on while working for Tori Golub, everything in the space was custom and I created drawings for the shelving units, table and credenza. This is a photo of the finished interior and it integrates an dining area with a small workspace.

KITCHEN DESIGN

When it comes to kitchen design it is important to select a design that works with the overall design of the space. Incorporating open shelves in your kitchen design is a good idea when the space is relatively small and casual. Brushed stainless steel appliances are easy to maintain and blend nicely with light colors.  If you opt for the open shelf design it’s helpful to have tableware that is lighter in color and a few accent pieces, particularly for smaller spaces.

KIDS ROOM DESIGN

Kids room design

Incorporating wallpaper in a child’s bedroom is a way to personalize the room. For this design D’aquino Monaco enlarged a picture of an existing space and created a wallpaper that gives the room a three dimensional look. This Moroccan theme was prevalent out throughout the duplex penthouse.
